About

Stacey ShipmanWelcome!

I’m Stacey Shipman, a stress and wellness specialist and speaker who creates healthy home, school and work environments. I consult with organizations that need assistance creating, implementing or managing health and wellness programs to reduce stress and health care costs. I speak at conferences and association meetings on topics related to stress relief, confidence and community building.

I’m also the creator and editor of Healthy South Shore, a media and event driven  resource providing fun, practical healthy living information to folks south of Boston.

I spent ten years in the corporate world before leaving that life in 2006 due to stress and burnout. I naively believed my stress would disappear when I became self-employed. Not true. Instead I needed to learn tools and strategies to manage myself and my stress in a variety of situations. Today I teach those strategies to others so they can enjoy successful careers.

In 2007 I created the audio CD Let it Flow: Short Guided Meditations and in 2008 wrote a pocket guide book  Experience Less Stress, More Success: Networking for Business, with a goal of helping those new to networking feel more comfortable and confident.

I’m a blogger on Hingham Patch, a contributor to SouthShoreWoman.com and Wellx.com and of course content creator at HealthySouthShore.com.

I love to volunteer my time, especially to groups involved with empowering teens and women. Below is a list of my community involvement.
