The winter season is full of comfort foods – hearty soups and stews, foods to keep us warm and insulated during a cold season. Winter is over and it’s time to come out of hibernation. And to help prepare you for a healthy and energetic spring and summer season Health Coach Kathleen Ogar of Infinite Health and Wellness in Hanover, Massachusetts has just the thing – a Spring Cleanse. During this interview, Kathleen, a homeopath, acupressurist and holistic health counselor, talks about the benefits of cleansing, the healthy way. She believes in a food based cleanse that, when you get to the bottom of it, is really about ridding the body of processed foods. And she’s got an every day practical approach. Having spent many years in the corporate world before heading into wellness full-time (a woman after my own heart) she gets the busy, hectic professional lifestyle.
If you or someone you know has ever considered a “cleanse” or what might be commonly referred to in popular magazines as a “detox”, I invite you to listen to what Kathleen has to say before you make any decisions. She is a firm believer in a food-based cleanse to flush out any toxins, increase your energy, and have you ready for a new season. Cleansing your body isn’t about starving your body, it’s about treating it as the strong temple it is!

Cool. I’m going to try it.
Thanks for taking the time to share this information with us, Stacey!
“Clearing out” has been an overarching theme in my life for the past ten days, including the foods I eat. I’ve eaten healthfully since my early 20′s, but there’s always more refining I can do. Including taking ice cream (boo!) out of my regular diet.
Much love & joy to you!
Leanna- me, too!
Megan, Boo to no ice cream is right! I hope you make an exception, should we ever meet in person!
I started the cleanse today…
