Hi everyone – I think it’s important to always have support in this area. I’m not there yet, but I’m sure some day I will be. It’s not easy taking care of someone else, and remembering to care for your own health and well-being as well. Leanna has some great info on her site whether you are Massachusetts based or not. My wife’s grandfather has Alzheimer Disease. He was recently found riding his golf cart 4 miles, on a major road, from his retirement home. My wife’s parents had to pick him up at 12am and take him back home. It’s not easy taking care of someone else.

Hi Stacey and Leanna .. this is my arena .. and all support and advice, links to resources for people in need in Massachusetts .. I’m sure is absolutely right. I’ve been struglling on my own, without support from my family, albeit financials and the legals are taken care of .. it’s that back up one needs. Probably more from the community somewhere .. England is different.

But I’m sure Leanna’s service will be hugely helpful to many families .. great interview – thank you .. Hilary
