Jason, Thanks for your comment. I agree every problem does offer opportunities - to learn about the issue at hand and ourselves! Good to have you here.

Kudos to you for seeing the bright side of things. I've learned that every problem offers an opportunity if we have the wherewithal to setp back and look for it. Of course, I'm no master, but I'm getting better (I think.) I had lots of opportunities (and a number of web site malfunctions) to practice :)

Jared - Yes, there were some issues with backing up that way. I do have the material, but will require cut and paste.

Walter - Thanks for stopping by. I have learned there is no other way! Can't control the situation, but the reaction, yes.

When we experience things that was never planned we get distressed. I'm glad you've seen things differently, you have found an opportunity to make things better, for you and for this site. :-)

You probably already checked but unless you are hosting on a machine in your house your hosting provider probably has backups maybe a week or a month old.

If you ask them they can probably roll you back up to that point.

Wow, what an awful thing to happen. :( But I'm glad you are looking at the positive side of things and starting clean. I bet this time around you will find a way to do regular backups as well. ;-)

Best of luck to you!

Wow Stacey, that is a test of how one would react to "stress" indeed and talk about the power of manifestations....

But I am glad to hear all is well! The web site looks wonderful and as I always say, nothing bad ever happens that doesn't work out for a greater good!

I can so relate to "careful what you wish for." I've seen it countless times in my own life, as well as those of my friends. I had one friend with her own nail business who wanted to do catering, instead. She kept lamenting her nail business, saying how she didn't want to do it anymore, etc. In no time, she started losing clients right and left --- some moved, some got sick, what-have-you. She panicked! I told her I thought she manifested it, and boy was she upset when she realized that.

I'm glad you were able to put a positive spin on your situation and see the silver lining around that oh-so-gray cloud of technological hiccups.

By the way, I like how the new site looks! It's really warm and clean.

Hi Stacey,

I wandered over from Tess' blog, The Bold Life, and much to my happy surprise, we're practically neighbors...or at least we're both disappointed with the Patriots loss to the Jets on Sunday (oy...what a game)

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your website and content but what a way to create CHANGE :-) I look forward to reading more and seeing your new creation!
