Friday Quote: Is Opportunity Knocking? Don’t Just Sit There, Go Get the Door.

Opportunity knocked a few times this week, and as a result blogging took a seat on the back burner. But as a result of some of the opportunities, I’ll be back next week in full force.
Just because opportunity presents itself, doesn’t mean you can sit back and wait to see what happens. As the quote above says, go get the door! Things don’t happen to us, we have to make things happen.
Today I confirmed 4 days of work for next July with an organization I met with more than a year ago. Over a year ago I planted a seed. I made it happen. All seeds take time to grow. Take the opportunities as they come, you never know where they will lead.

It’s been an amazing week for me, and opportunity knocked loudly. I am answering it - even though this is taking me way outside my comfort zone! Scary - yes! Exciting - for sure! And isn’t that what life is about - answering the door not only for welcome friends - but also for the “new friends” we’re making! These are exciting times indeed!
And, Stacey - look at the seed you planted so long ago, now starting to grow…opportunity continues to knock…
