Welcome to the new blog and a bit on what to expect.

Thank you for visiting my new blog, Let it Flow. Here you will (soon) find the posts I’ve written over the past year, and future posts will remain similar in content. I will be forwarding the old feed to the new feed later today so you do not have to re-subscribe. If it does not work, please subscribe to the new feed by reader or email. If you are new here, welcome, and I invite you to subscribe and join the Let it Flow community!

POSTS

My goal for this blog is a minimum of 3 posts per week (M/W/F) to include video, thought pieces based on my experiences, client case studies and “in the news”, tips, and relevant product and service reviews. I’ll also post announcements of any upcoming events or new products I’m offering that pertain to the content of this blog. If there is something you’d like to read about please let me know! I reserve the right to add more content if it makes sense and post more often than 3 times per week.

This will be more than a “how-to” blog, my goal is also to get you thinking differently about the areas in your life that aren’t as satisfactory as you may want them to be. A list of how-to’s means nothing if you’re not taking action, and in order to take action you need to shift your thinking. I’m here to help you shift your thinking in order to “let it flow”. (more on that in a future post)

CONTENT

General information on stress relief and boosting confidence will be here as well as more specific information to help you:

  • Improve public speaking and communication skills
  • Manage your health/weight/exercise routines and body image
  • Improve productivity and success at home, work and the community

I have chosen these three key areas because I know them and live them every day. I have spent the past 4 years improving my public speaking skills, the past 15 years educating myself (through formal education and personal trial and error) on appropriate exercise and health techniques, and I spent 10 years in the corporate world, working for ” the man” waiting, impatiently, for the day when I was working for myself. I know what’s it’s like to be stressed about weight, body image, public speaking, and work both as a corporate type and a small business owner. For the last several years I’ve been testing and learning a variety of tools on how to manage that stress and build my confidence so I can be successful and effective in all areas of my life. Now I share my personal experiences, knowledge, formal education and client stories with the hopes of helping you, the reader.

COMMENTS

These topics will be relevant to those in the working world, those at home and those who are active in the community. I will write from my own experiences and beliefs, and you may or may not agree. I love to read and hear about other points of view, mine can be very focused! That said, please be respectful with your comments, not degrading or spiteful. I will respect and appreciate your point of view as long as you respect and appreciate mine and those of other commenters/readers. Again, that doesn’t mean you have to agree. We can learn from each other. I’m just one person and I certainly have a lot still to learn.

BLOG DESIGN

Design is still in process. There will be some minor changes as I go, anything critical and I will certainly post about it.

Thank you for stopping by, I look forward to this year of blogging! Email me any time with comments or questions!

  1. Looking good!! I love that you’re starting with some focus and intentions. I plan to have my “biz” site up later this week and should really get started on some content. I like your model.

    Good luck!!
