Reason #10: why you won’t stick to your exercise program
I recently posted the top 9 reasons I think people don’t stick to their exercise programs and now I offer you reason #10.
You’re overwhelmed.
This came to me as a result of a book I’m reading and a magazine article I read on sleep. There is so much information out there about the best diets, the best workouts, foods to avoid, foods to help you sleep, foods to cure your stress, workouts for your butt, workouts for your brain….need I continue? Then there are the images, stick thin women who look like my breath could blow them over.
Because analyzing the information to determine the best diet and workout is a lot of work, and the fact that most of us will NEVER be as skinny as the cover models (unless our photos got touched up, too), we give up trying. Instead of being overwhelmed consider being happy with your efforts knowing you are doing the best you can do to improve your health.
