Massachusetts Adults 2nd Leanest in Country, Kids Trail

Lots in the news today. A new report shows that Massachusetts adults rank 2nd only to Colorado as the leanest adult population in the country. That doesn’t mean we can get lazy! Keep up the good work.
That said children in the state aren’t as lean as the adults. Kids age 10 to 17 ranked 27 on the national list. Get those kids moving with you Mom and Dad.
Information comes from “F as in Fat: How Obesity Policies Are Failing in America, 2007″ from the Trust for America’s Health. The report states that almost a third of American adults are obese.
